North Jersey Soap Artisan Opens Supplies Division
Oakland, NJ – Hello Bath & Body Co. has opened its new supplies division, SuppliesByHello.com. Aimed at both wholesale and retail customers, the new website offers high quality natural materials and essential oils at sizes and prices to fit every budget. The selection of perfume-grade absolutes and oils has been hand selected and represents various parts of the world – spanning from a family farm in Oregon to the exotic Réunion Island off the coast of Madagascar.
Owner Daniela P. Maldonado is excited to “share the wealth”. She explains, “The little guy is often overlooked. Whether your company has 20 employees, no employees, or you are just a hobbyist perfumer, you should have a place to buy quality materials – at sizes and prices you can afford.” Maldonado has been working on sourcing her company’s new offerings since September of last year and says her quest was “fruitful”. “I have met a lot of new people on this journey and I hope the knowledge I’ve gained keeps my business going. That’s really why I did this – to keep my colleagues going, too. Higher prices are hurting businesses of all sizes in the cottage bath and body industry and, right now, every little bit helps.”
Hello Bath & Body Company was established in a New Brunswick kitchen while Maldonado, 21, was a student at Rutgers University. Fascinated by the chemistry involved in the ancient art of soapmaking, Maldonado formulated her own perfect soap and has since put her signature on the industry. Her soaps are available at several retail locations in New Jersey and at the Ringwood and Chatham Farmers’ Markets.
